8io day showcase! (And Patch 0.0.25)


First the news, then the patch notes.
It my greatest pleasure to announce Kolhii Champions will be featured in the upcoming 8ionicle day stream! In case you were unaware, every year a large collaboration of Bionicle media hosts such as Beaverhouse, Wall of History, and Biomedia Project just to name a few, come together to host fan games, trivia, interviews, and so many more activities all realated to Bionicle in a day of tribute! Champions AU was fortunate enough to be invited to be featured in this year's upcoming stream, and we would love for you to join! With that large announcement out of the way, lets get to patch notes.

Patch 0.0.25 introduces some more rudementery features, such as basic AI for the Rahi, along with much needed model updates, and SFX!

AI
- Mahi and Husi Birds will now roam Po-Koro

-Fixed some spelling errors in dialogue

SFX
- Walking/Running/Jumping/Sliding SFX for both Stone and Sand surfaces

- Comets now clink when hitting stone or metal, and pomf when hitting sand

- Rahi also now have movement sounds

- Reduced volume of ambiance

- Reduced the volume of scroll-over UI sounds


World

-Updated some Rahi positions

- Arena, Bleachers, and goal posts are now slightly larger

- Fixed a stuck spot in front of the gate

- Updated background physics to allow for better calculations

-Increased gravity


Player

-Increase jump strength to compenstate for gravity increase

- Modifed kicking values, The minimum kick strength is up to 100 from 1, with a maximum of 600

- Kicking animation improved. Slightly further reach when "dry kicking."

-Delay when "dry kicking" removed. Dry kick cooldown reduced from 2 seconds to 0.2 seconds.

- Walking and Running animations improved

- Repositioned model so the head is now at the center, instead of the body.


Models

- Kaukau, Rau, Kakama, and Mahiki Models Updated

- "White" color brightened

- "Dark Turquoise" color is more blue, closer to the original set color

- "Copper" color is now closer to the original set color


Techincal

- Fixed UI scaling issue. UI should now stay within screen bounds.

- Menu splash screens updated

- Added resolution scale option


Known issues:

- Comets sometimes fly off in random directions when walking into them or kicking

- UI assets become mis-aligned or dont properly scale when adjusting resolution

- Certain settings like resolution scale and Shadows dont get applied
